App works in preview but not published

Hi. I have an app to pull budget data from connected excel table, do some calculations, then display on screen.

In app preview, it works no problem. But the published app doesn't show the calculation results. It just shows 0.00.

Other answers talked about turning off Explicit Column selection preview feature - I tried that but it didn't make a difference.

On the left is the preview, then on the right is the published version. I have tried clearing cache, restarting, saving and republishing the app, no change.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Thanks! I was using Edge Chromium. Opened it in Chrome just now, and it works straight away. But I had cleared cache and restarted edge already....have I made an app that only works in Chrome? That might be a stupid question sorry!

So following up on this, this is the behaviour I'm now getting with my PowerApp.

In edit - preview mode, the app works each time.

User 1 (me) - published app opens in edge chromium, but calculations give 0 values. Published app opens in chrome, calculations work correctly.
User 2 - published app opens in edge chromium, calculations run correctly. Published app opens in chrome, calculations give 0 values.
User 3 - published app opens in edge chromium, calculations run correctly. Published app opens in chrome, calculations run correctly.

There seems to be no consistency between users. I can't say for sure what browser a particular user will need to use, so I can't deploy it to the business.

The fact that the calcs run properly in each browser for at least one user makes it seem like its not a problem with the app development, but I'm at a loss.

Can anyone help? I'm really up against it! Thanks 🙂
