IF Statement help

Hi there,

Hopefully somebody may be able to help.

My current app has it so that if a user enters the app with an ID embedded in the URL they get directed to a specific screen:

StartScreen = If(!IsBlank(Param("ID")),'Data Screen', 'Home Screen')

I was hoping to advance this by which if the user entering the app has already pressed a specific button they get directed to another screen. Ideally based on a Sharepoint List column value "submit".

Either something along the lines of an ELSE IF or AND statement in the Start Screen APP option:

  • StartScreen = IF Param ID = BLANK > Direct to Home Screen.
  • StartScreen = IF Param ID FILLED & SharepointList.StatusChoiceColumn.Value = "Submited" > Direct to Submitted Screen.
  • StartScreen = IF Param ID FILLED & SharepointList.StatusChoiceColumn.Value = "False/Not Submitted" > Direct to Data Screen.

    Hi @notepadapp ,

    Try this one -

    // Check if the ID parameter is filled
    StartScreen = If(
     !IsBlank(Param("ID")),

     // If the ID is filled, find the corresponding item in the SharePoint list and check its StatusChoiceColumn value
     If(
     First(Filter(<YOUR LIST NAME>, ID = Value(Param("ID")))).StatusChoiceColumn.Value = "Submitted",
     // If the value is "Submitted", direct the user to the Submitted Screen
     'Submitted Screen',
     If(
     First(Filter(<YOUR LIST NAME>, ID = Value(Param("ID")))).StatusChoiceColumn.Value = "False/Not Submitted",
     // If the value is "False/Not Submitted", direct the user to the Data Screen
     'Data Screen',
     // If the StatusChoiceColumn value is anything else, direct the user to the Home Screen
     'Home Screen'
     )
     ),

     // If the ID parameter is blank, direct the user to the Home Screen
     'Home Screen'
    )

    Let me know if this works, and if it is please mark this as a solution,

    Thanks 😀
