Hello,

I am pretty new to PA. I have built a PA with a form that is connected to a blank gallery. When I add information to the form it will update my gallery. When I try to select items that were added by the form in the gallery they will select. Only the 1st item is highlighted and selectable. I can add new records but I cannot edit old records using the form as the gallery will not select anything.

I have watched a ton of videos, ask AI for help, have tried the OnSelect in the gallery properties. Everyone just seems to click in the gallery and it works.

Is this screen shot showing what is happening currently? Did you select Override first and then tested it?

Hi,

To edit selected item in the gallery:

1. Update OnSelect property of gallery to:

EditForm(Form) //change Form to your form name

2. Edit Item property of the form to

Gallery.Selected //change Gallery to your gallery name

3. To highlight selected item, change TemplateFill property of the gallery to:

If(ThisItem.IsSelected, Color.Blue, Color.White) //Change Color.Blue to your preferred color
