Not sure if our case is exactly behaving like yours, therefore let me briefly explain how it is for us:
- Opening the canvas app with embedded PowerBI tile.
- For half a second the PowerBI tile show the yellow PowerBI logo.
- You would then expect to see the spinning wheels of all the visuals which are on the PowerBI report to indicate loading time for the user. But instead the area where the report should show it is just white space and nothing shown and stays like this.
- The reports works well in PowerBI directly and nothing was changed in the App from our end which could explain this new behavior.
We saw this issue in several tenants and several apps first time a week ago. As we did not change anything we expect its related to a recent update by Microsoft.
We noticed that if the user simply klicks the left mouse button in the area of the report tile, the report shows instantly and correctly.
So this is good for us for the moment and we hope it will be solved soon.
