How do I use the SharePoint column in a Power Automate flow?

I am trying to build a Power Automate workflow that will be triggered manually in a SharePoint library. In my library, I have an approver column that the initiator will use to determine who would be assigned to approve/reject the flow. To start of the flow, I am using the "For a selected item", then in the "Start and wait for an approval" action I want to dynamically pic the approver column. However, when I attempt to fill the "Assigned To" field in the flow, I do not see my approver column from the SharePoint library.

Alternatively I tried to use "Initialize variable" action to create and assign the SharePoint column to a variable I could use within the flow. Again I am not able to see the columns from the SharePoint library.

All I see for Dynamic Content are ID, itemURL, fileName, User id, User name, User email, Timestamp.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Spawn10

This is by design. For a selected item it only gives you the identifier, itemURL, fileName, User id, User name, User email & Timestamp. After the trigger use the Get item SharePoint action step. Here set the Id from the trigger dynamic content which user selected.
