power automate child flow suspended due to HTTP connector blocked in DLP

Hello,

I'm using child flows in my solution, due to HTTP connector blocked in DLP recently, the child flow calling failed. I find this statment from Microsoft(Call Child Flows - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn)

"

If you block the HTTP Request connector via data loss prevention (DLP), child flows are also blocked because child flows are implemented using the HTTP connector. Work is underway to separate DLP enforcement for child flows so that they are treated like other cloud flows.

"

I can't find the update from Microsoft, does anyone know about this? Thanks.

    Hi Max,

     

    Child Flows are connected to Parent flows so if you have X connector in a Parent flow and Y connector in a child flow both X and Y connectors together will still need to follow the DLP policy. They are not considered separate flows once they are connected together.
