Hi,
I am trying to create an app where user can upload an excel list of data (names, course) and click a button to populate certificates on word template. User will then receive an email with x number of populated certificates. is this possible? Thank you
I can't think of a way to do this without also using Power Automate, the app would only be an interface and trigger.Also, the excel file would need to have a table, and every time someone uses this they would have to have tables with the same column names.Journey would look something like this.
You could also do this without the PowerApp. Set up a folder in OneDrive, call it "Certificate Dropbox" where a user can upload an excel file of names. The flow would be triggered by the file being created and run the same way.
hi, thanks for the reply. may i know will there be any issues if the uploaded excel file by users are all using the same file name and i delete the excel file once the email is sent? then another user uploads another excel file and the process repeats?
Not sure what i did wrong, the flow has 429 error and sometimes, the excel portion of the flow has error in getting the table name. could it be cos I delete the excel file everything the loop is completed?
