Powerapps virtual entity link to F&O

Hi,

First post here so please bear with me.

I have a Power Apps environment setup and I am using a virtual entity link to link to Finance and Operations. The setup is fully complete, and I am able to link to some of the 'out of the box' F&O entities and view the data under Dataverse > Tables. Success.

However, we have some custom entities in our F&O environment, and I am struggling to link to these. I have made the entity visible through the Power Apps advanced settings > filter > make visible setup, but when I try to view the data in Dataverse > Tables I just get a message 'Something went wrong. We weren't able to open your table. Try reloading or reopening' - screenshot attached. I have tried a few of these custom entities and it appears to be the case for any that I have tried to connect to.

We can consume these custom entities data successfully in PowerBI (separate project) so there is no issue with the entity itself. The problem appears to be on the Power Apps side of things. I am hoping someone has come across this before or could point me in the right direction.

Many thanks

Ryan

I am running into this issue now as well. I have tried to refresh the virtual entity through the model driven admin application in Dataverse > Advanced Find > Look For: Available Finance and Operations Entities >  Find Entity > Refresh checkbox, but that did not fix the issue either. Any suggestions out there?

I used to get this error message when the Finance and Operations environment from which the virtual entities originate from was down, or if I didn't have administrative privileges to edit/add/view data to the tables. My proposed solution is therefor:

    - Make sure FinOps environment is up and running, and you can access it by using a normal url

    - Make sure you have enough administrative privileges to access the environment

    Good luck
