Updating Item in Sharepoint list using items from another list

I have two SharePoint Lists, one with a list of links and one that has individual information. I want to create a flow that pulls in a link from the list of links and places it within an existing item on another sharepoint list with each individual's information.

I have columns, with certain conditions like whether the incentive has been used yes/no, and if the individual qualifies to receive a link (yes/no). I want to be able to pull in the links to those that qualify in one list and update the incentive link list to say yes the link has been used. My biggest issue, is I don't know how to only pull individual links into the list without the flow going through all of the links and repeating itself.

Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Hi @help123 ,

Do you mean you would like to trigger a flow for a specific link item from list 1 and add it into list 2 after some conditions filter?

Please consider this trigger:

After proper deployment, the flow will shows up in SharePoint when you hold an item.

I don't know if that will work exactly, I'm going to have a list of unique links in column 1 in the list below:
Then I want to move a link that under the condition that it hasn't been used (incentive_used = "no") to the following list, based on another condition (baseline_complete = "yes").
I want to be sure that when I have many unique links in the first list and many unique IDs in the second list, that no link is repeated.

Then when do you want to start the flow? When you hold one specific item in list one or at a time when you want to apply the process to all the items?

I'd like to keep the "Incentive Links" list static, so that I can copy and paste in unique links over time.

Then on the second list "Incentive Messages" I would like a flow to be able to 'pick' a link that has not be used on the "Incentive Links" list and fill the column 'incentive_link' in the "Incentive Messages" list. I could manually trigger this, or have in on a schedule.

I've learnt what you want to do. Thanks for that. That's feasible and simple to realize.

But may I know in what way to do the mapping?
I mean in which kind of order do you like to move the unused link to "Incentive Messages" list?
Just move the first item from "Incentive Links" and use its link to update first item in "Incentive Messages" list and so on?

Yes I would like to use the first link in the "Incentive Links" that has not been used (incentive_used = no), to the first item that does not have an incetive_link in the "Incentive Messages" list.

Hi @help123 ,

That won't work. You have to set a same column in both list to do mapping...
In my demo, I use your "Sid" column as mapping column.
1. Get items from Incentive links with Filter query:
2. For each item we retrieved from above action, we go to Incentive Messages list and find a record which own the same sid number.
3. Finally we do the update.

Notice that the column name we used in Filter query should be Sharepoint internal column name.
