Hello,

We've been working with the Office 365 plan for a while, but after the changes they've made to the plans, we need to move to another plan to keep working with the Premium Connectors. What we don't understand about the per app plan and per user plan, is the following:

-Do end users need to have those plans to be able to use the app?

-We only have a couple of people editing the Apps, which plan would be the best if we want these Apps to be used by a lot of people? And we have much more than 2 Apps.

I ask because some users were asked to extend their trial or purchase the plan in order to use the Apps.

Yes, any plan using a premium connector will require the end-user to have a license. The cost is $10 per user per app or $40 per user for unlimited app.

App licensing costs are not influenced by the number of builders. It is all based on how many people are actually using the app. After a user needs access to 4 apps the $40 per user for unlimited apps becomes the most cost effective.

If you really want to keep the costs down though build as much as you can on SharePoint lists because it does not require any additional licensing.
