Less than, equal too, and Greater than Expresssions

I've been looking at this post https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Less-than-equal-too-and-Greater-than-Expresssions/m-p/134798#M13284 by @Timmay313, and I'm trying something similar.

I'm using a schedule trigger of 1 time per week, to send an email when a task item is Due in the past 5 days and the status is not complete.

The simple logic:

Schedule 1 time per week

Get items

email person assigned to the task if the duedate is less than or equal to today and status is not equal to complete.

I seem to get stopped if I use "lessthan" as seen in the image attached, stating that the expression is invalid.

    Hi @smorley,

Dates don't support all these operations. Can you put the fucntion ticks() around your dates? Then you can do the less than etc operations.

Sorry @Pieter_Veenstra I'm not following.  What is the syntax around my DueDate field to show less than or equal to?
