Missing records in excel

Hello

I am new at this, I hope you can understand me. We have an issue with a flow in power automate and Excel, let me explain it:

-We have a flow that reads a SQL SP. If we consult that SPin the SSMS, we get 2 records as result.

-I can see both records in the "output parameters" section in the flow.

-The flow sends an email with result. The result is included in an excel file.

-I open the excel, but I can see only one record, the other one is missing.

-I dont see any errors in the flow.

-A previous execution included the missing record (the information of that record was the same).

-The other executions (previous and pos) include all the records. We only had this issue with that execution.

Thank you in advance.

Can we please see a screenshot of your flow with the actions open?

    Hello Rhia.

Thank you for your time. I hope I can explain this well:

    This is the flow:

    flow1.JPG

The first module use the SP in the database:

    flow2.JPG

Then, we take the latest report and delete that file. These steps are not important:flow4.JPG Then, we get the template for the report

    flow5.JPG

Next step, we fill the template with the information:

    flow6.JPG

And then, we send the email with the file attached:

    flow7.JPG

I don't see errors in that execution:

    flujo ok.JPG

And the flow is reading both records. This one is the missing record:

    record missing.JPG

The flow is inserting the record in the excel file:

    record excel.JPG

But we get only one record in the excel. We should get two.:

I checked the SP in the SSMS, I could see both records:

PD: Sorry, I had to block a few lines.

Ah, I see - can you try something for me, just to see if it resolves the issue for now?

Add a delay of 30 seconds right after the "add row to Excel" action in your loop. I've seen a few reports of this issue, and sometimes that helps - sometimes it's permissions - sometimes it's duplicated files (ie, if there's more than one of the same name, that causes issues) - and sometimes it's just a service error.

Let's see if that helps and then move on to another option if not...

    Hi Rhia.

The delay is already in action. The "add row" action is in the module "Apply to each 7" and then, we apply the delay.

Unfortunately, the user reported this problem late so the information has changed since then and I cannot validate that same run.

If you can tell me the other possible causes, it would be a great help and that would be enough.

Thank you very much for your help

    Hi there,

The delay is outside of the Apply to Each loop

It would need to be inside of it. The goal is to give Excel some time to confirm the addition of the previous data before moving to add the next data.

Did you check your files / permissions based on the other potential issues I mentioned?

My bad. Thank you Rhia. We added a new delay inside the loop:

    R

Yes, I did. I didn't see any issues regarding permissions or files. From what we have been informed, this was the only run where some information was missing.

That's interesting - well, let us know how it goes on the next run, with the delay in here. It will take longer to run (of course), but if we're still missing rows then we know it's something more dastardly...
