Forms datacard value changing depending on the value of the previous data card

Hi all,

I have a form with 6 different data cards. The second card refers to the time datacard. I have this display.disabled and on default the value is now(). However, time passes until the form is submitted and the value of the time datacard remains the one when accessing the screen where the form is located. I am trying to make an if statement, inside the datacard value of "time" that checks if the previous data card (above time) equals no selected value then time would be blank, otherwise (when the operator selects the value of the above card then the time=now() gets inserted ensuring that the time will be as close as possible when submitting the form.

Any thoughts on how I could write something like this?

Thank you for your time 🙂

    Hi @PAtryhard ,

    You need to set a Variable just before you submit the Form

    UpdateContext({varTime: Now()})

    the the Default of your control would be

    varTime

    Thats a great solution! However, I would like the app to be a bit more visual and interactive, and the datacard time value (of now() ) to get inserted when the operator would fill the first data card (above the time datacard).
    So the person can actually see the time before submitting.

    Any thoughts on that?

    Thanks for taking the time!

    Hi @PAtryhard ,

    Just more of the same - set the Variable at the point you want to display it and have a Label visible showing

    Text(varTime,"hh:mm")

    You can then set it again before submitting it you need to.
