Create Contact Form does not save email adress

Hi PA Community,

right now I'm working on a Customer Portal.

In this Portal the account manager for an account should be able to create new contacts.

This works so far. Unfortunally all fields I testested so far execept the emailadress1 field are saved by the form. If I edit the contact afterwards and then add the same e-mail again, the email is saved.

Create new conctact: Entering an email does not work.

I've already created a new form and also a new entity form record, but I get the same results.

Does someone encounter the same issue?

By any change would you have a plugin/workflow on the Contact create that could be preventing this?

hi , any chance email field added on Create contact is not emailaddress1? if it is same , check if any validation on entity form preventing this or plugin /workflow. thanks!

Thanks for your help @PoojaD and @OliverRodrigues.

We've found a workflow, which for whatever reason did delete the email field on creation. 🙊
