Add Parent Container to Existing Container

Is there a way to add a parent container to an existing container, or move an existing container into a new parent container WITHOUT cutting/pasting?  When I cut a container and paste it elsewhere, the properties of that container and the elements within get changed/reset and I have to rebuild all the content.  I have built a rather complex set of embedded containers for an app and I don't want to fix all those embedded containers' settings.

Hi @JimSutt  to my knowledge there isn’t a way you can add a parent container to an existing one with out copy and pasting the container in to the parent container unfortunately. I’m not sure if anyone knows a way to do this but I usually will copy and paste it over!

Sorry i couldnt help any further

Hi @AndrewR1 , that is what I do as well, but it will change the values to the properties of most of the elements, such as adding strange padding values.  What I end up doing is making a copy of the app, opening the copy on another screen, adding the new parent category in the original app, copy/paste all the screen elements into the new parent, and then revise the values of every property of every element copied into the new parent based on comparing the copied app to the original.  This can take hours.  I was hoping there would be a better way, especially as my apps become more and more complicated with embedded containers.
