Hello,
I have 4 drop downs currently one dictates whether or not they show up based on a response value. So my issue is when user selects Approved from dropdown1 then the other two dropdowns are grayed out, but only dropdown2 shows but i have it to where is required a selection. Yet when i select cancelled this response all of the dropdowns are grayed out but i can not submit the form as i have dropdown2 as required. How can i submit if the dropdowns is required but is grayed out?
put an IF statement in the Required field of the dropdowns
@cds can you provide an example. I tried to do an if but i am not getting the right result. Thank you
required property of dropdown-> dropdown.selected.value = X Thats the best I can do given the context available.
@cds sorry i did not gave you any visuals I am providing some captions of what i am having issues with. I set the data card as required but when i put in your solution it does not work.
put this in the required property -> ResponseDropdown.Selected.Value="Approved"If statement would just be redundant as this evaluates to t/f

Sorry but could you please explain what you want to achieve again?
When you select "Approved" in Response dropdown, do you want both Yes/No and Options dropdowns to be disabled? And when "Approved" is removed, you want both dropdowns to be selectable again?
Are these dropdowns inside an edit form control? Are Yes/No and Options dropdowns set as Required from the data source side of the form control?
When dropdowns are gray out, do they have any values selected? If not, and they are required columns, then you will need to update these columns manually in the formula.
