Delegation for Azure SQL tables

I am having delegation warnings to simple filters and sum functions in powerapps, using an Azure SQL table as a datasource. Does an Azure SQL table works as an on premises SQL server table in terms of delegation? The powerapps documentation doesn't adress this matter.
