Use filter on dropdown based on other dropdown in a gallery

Hello,

I am making a timesheet app in powerapps so that we can keep the hours spent per project and task.

So to create this I use a gallery to create the rows where you can select the project than the task that is connect to the project and the hours spend on it. The problem that I have is with the task selection, when I select the project I want to see the list of tasks that is connected to that project this works. But when I select another project on a new line the list on the task dropdown refeshes to the tasks from the last selected project.  Is it possible to connect the dropdown of the project to the dropdown of the tasks list per line in the gallery? See below for screenshot of the app.

The data for it all comes out of sharepoint lists. For the items in the project dropdown I have created a flow in powerautomate that creates a list from the sharepoint of the projects that are currently worked on and sends it to power apps. This was the only possible way that I could find to fill the dropdown as the sharepoint list has to many columns for power apps.

The items from the tasks can be either direct from the sharepoint list in power apps or also via a flow in power automate.

So in the screenshot below is what I have.

    Hi,

    Thank you for an answer.

Unfortunately this doesn't work. I am not really sure why not it might be because of how i get the data for the first dropdown.

So in the first dropdown for the project I have a flow that gets an array of strings of all the project in the sharepoint list. and when I try to use the filter function on the next dropdown for the task it gives me an error but not an expanation as to why it has an error.

So in the items property of the task dropdown I fil in the following: Filter('Task list',  Project = drpdownProject.Selected.Value) And on the '=' symbol it gives me an error. I can't select the Result as proporty of the dropdown only a Value.

You can directly connect to SharePoint items for the Project dropdown item instead of using a flow!

When i connect directly to the sharepoint list of the projects than I get the following error:

The only solution I found on google was to use a flow to get the data.

So I can fill the task dropdown based on the selected project in the project dropdown. I use another flow for this based on the project that is selected in the project dropdown and the flow generates an array of strings with all the tasks that belong to that project.

    So an example:

I select project1 in the first row of the gallery then I can select a task that is available for that project, for instance update planning.

Than I add a new line and select a different project 'project2' and the list for the tasks gets updated based on project2 and I get the tasks list of that project. But the task I selected at in the first line at project1 is no longer there because the list was updated for the next line.

I want to be able to select the tasks per line based on the project that is selected on that line in the gallery, is that even possible?
