Local items limit (Dropdown)

Hello!

Is there a limit for the amount of items that can be displayed (with an IF conditional) under a single dropdown?

I need to display a list of ≤500 warehouses segregated depending on the selected region but I don't know what the limit is or if it's performance would be severly downgraded.

Also, this list has to be available offline as the app might need to rely on a SaveData fucntion if the user is on a remote loacation away from proper internet connection, so a table on an external sopurce is not an option right now, I'm afraid.

Appreciate any input on this!

Hi @LordsBH

I believe the item limit for dropdown is 500 which looking at your case should suffice
If you need to go beyond that limit then use a combo box

Hi @LordsBH ,

Have you tried the suggestion that RezaDorrani gave? ComboBox control instead of a DropDown and use your collection as the Items.for it. There is no limit for a ComboBox.

I did and worked like a charm!
Wasn't aware Excel list could be imported as items
