Hi! I am a beginner in Power Apps. I have created two power Apps which is one is first version and another one is the latest one and the latest one I have integrate with power BI. The First version,I can submit form even when the excel file online is open but the one I integrate with Power BI. there is an error stating that the submit form cannot be done due to the data network is being locked. Is there any reason why one can be update while opening and another one showing error?
@BeginnerAuto23 ,Absolutely correct - you cannot have the Excel fiel open separately if you want to access it from Power Apps. If you have access to SharePoint lists, I suggest you transfer your data to one of those as this will only be one of many issues you will encounter with Excel.

That surprises me as my understanding is what I posted and has been so since Excel Tables have been used for Power Apps data.
I have found the reason. One is I use Onedrive(Cannot update while open) and one is using Excel Online(Can update new row). Adding new row is fine in Excel Online but not possible with update the existing one. Maybe you can help to clarify on this and I can closed this discussion.
Excel Online is a different subject to OneDrive (where it certainly locks when in use by Power Apps) and I assumed this was what you were using due to it being locked. I do not use Excel (it is also in many other ways a terrible data source for Power Apps), but if online allows new records, at least that is progress,
