Hi there, I have a workflow for adding an attachment from a form to planner. Issue right now is if there isn't an attachment, the flow breaks. Should I put a control in before the JSON or just make the attachment required in the form?

It just might be easier to make the attachment required in the form. Thoughts? Help?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can process attachments from Forms to Planner and they don't have to a be requirement. I see in your flow you are also using a List, I don't in my flow, but this works well for a single attachment question and here I have a quick condition that says if my question "File" is empty, don't update the task, if it isn't empty, parse my get responses, update the task with the attachment. You could also build this out for more than one attachment but isn't included in this example below.

Oh wow! That's a much more efficient and elegant answer. Thank you so much! It completely eliminates the need to go form to table to list to planner.

Hello @trice602 ,
Could please tell me how to create a automate for, when new response is submitted in forms, then it will be Reflect in Microsoft list and then it will be Reflect in planner with the same list link. Also I need to attach some of the file [that I will add as manually]
Pls help me

Attachments from form submission to Planner

I'm following a youtube tutorial where it is using the "Get File Content" vs "Get File Content Using Path".
Do you mind showing the details of your "Get File Content Using Path" as well as the "Add Attachment" actions?

Per my understanding, the "Add Attachment" action is for adding attachment to a SharePoint list.
What I'd like to achieve is updating Task Planner detail with Attachment that's a link to the file submitted via MS Form.
