Requirement : Load data instantly like google search after search criteria is placed in the different input fields(140+).
Source of Data: Teradata
Option1: Load all the data(26k+ records) into a collection on app start and perform search operations after data is loaded.
Limitation: Loading 26k+ records happens in a batch process loading maximum of 2k records at a time and it is taking 10-15 min for this process.
It does not appear to be feasible for end user to wait for 10-15 min.
Option2: Pagination view approach(https://rezadorrani.com/index.php/2021/01/05/power-apps-paginated-gallery/) -The search takes few seconds to load and then breaks the view into a pagination view showing 10-15 records from the search result per page. Navigating between pages to view search results is pretty responsive without any lag.
Limitation: Teradata is a not listed to be a delegable data source as per MS docs(Refer here). So, this approach will not work. Also, if we put a large number of filtering conditions(as per our current requirement) the delegable warning may come for any data source as per some forums.
Is there any other approach to get this working?
