How to write my Filter Query in GetItems and Update item??

Hi All,

I want to change the status of all items to inactive as soon as the last date is due in SharePoint.

(e.g. Today Date : 10/23/2024)

How can I achieve this?

HI,

Please try

Date eq 'formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd')'

where the formatDateTime is an expression inside apostrophes, shown above.

From here, you can have a flow that runs once a day on a schedule and checks or even have a flow that runs when an item is updated and checks for changes in the Date column.

Your answer is right but I forgot that I need to know how to use the Update item (title updated) for updating the column Status.

Do you have any ideas?

Do you mean you want to use Power Automate to query the SharePoint items by Date is before today, and then update all the rows which date is before today to inactive status?

Is the Status column string type or dropdown option type?
