How to filter Screen 2 based on selections in Screen 1

Good evening,

I have an app that's Screen 1 is connecting to List 1 which consists of a button to Launch the PropertyURL of the selected site, then another icon to see the Property's team, which takes you to Screen 2. My goal is to have that Screen 2 gallery link to List 2 of mine. List 2 consists of a full list of all employees at our company and contains a "Property" column that shows which property they work for. I want to filter Screen2's results based on whatever property they clicked the button for.

Screen1 (connects to List 1):

Screen2 (The "View Property Team" person icon navigates to Screen2, and I want it to be filterable based on the Property Name clicked from Screen1.)

Thank you in advance for any direction!

Save the value of the property name as a variable.

@turnerj3 - Thank you for the response. Would that get set on the OnSelect property of the "person" icon here? What would the syntax look like?

Id set it on the gallery item OnSelect.

    Something like:

    Set(varProperty, ThisItem.Property)

Nice, @turnerj3  That looked to work. What about on the Screen2 side? I imagine I will need to have some Sortby and/or filter based on that variable? (Thanks again for the direction, I am relatively new at this and this is helpful!)

Glad it worked @mdcastorena, you should be able to use :

    Filter(Propertymapemp1list, buildingname=varProperty)

Where you have Iconproperty team you need to use a column name in your list where you are searching for varProperty.

Should I be storing that varProperty in List 1 (PropertyMapEmplList) from Screen 1?

When you store a variable it doesn’t matter where you get it from, it is just storing the value to memory. I believe you want to store the property clicked from list 1, then filter screen 2 gallery based on that variable, to see the employee’s of that property? Filter screen 2 gallery list based on Property column=varProperty.

You may know this, but you can click the 3 dots next to settings above the function bar and choose open and then click variable’s on the left to see your variable value. You can also see collection data.
