Is there more information on how to use the "Get User Info" tool? Can I use it to obtain the users username?
Where do I find Parent directory entry and the Distinguished name?

That's for automating Active Directory tasks. You have to ask your AD admin about the details of its structure (directory, DN).
If you want to get the current logged in user's username then you will have to execute a CMD or PowerShell script.
