Please can someone explain to me what is the difference between developing an application in a development environment and in production production; because I made two apps, one on a development environment and the other on a production environment, and I shared it with users but I didn't notice any difference.
Well, Actually it's a huge concept but to give you the gist of it.
It's not a best practice to create app directly in the prod environment. Create an app in dev environment in solution. Move that solution to the prod environmen as managed solution. Component of the managed solution can not be edited so you can be assured that noone will mess with the production.
Bifurcating the enviroments helps you manage access. Dev team has dev env access. QA team has UAT env access. Your end users will have prod env access.
