    Hi @bscarpelli

Assuming your sharepoint list item data type is date, you would need to format the string returned by the form into a valid date format.  This can be achieved using formatdatetime(formvalue,'yyyy-MM-dd').  Take a look here FormatDateTime and Formatting a String Date - DamoBird365 for a better understanding of date/time formatting.

One issue I am having is difficulty seeing which item is causing the issue. I have several items and some are dates and others are not. And advice on how I can determine which part of the flow is causing the issue?

    hi @bscarpelli

Are you using a date picker? I would assume all, albeit I haven’t tried this myself. Best remove the dates from the create item and get it working, then add one date and fix the formatting and then fix the others.

Re: Flow failing due to string not recognizing valid DateTime

I think I might just have to scratch the whole idea - a bit too complicated for me and I already spent HOURS working on this flow to get the form submission to create a sharepoint item then send email confirmation to the provider of their scheduled training. If I remove the items now it may cause issues with the confirmation email being sent and I don't want to break anything else. Currently the form has a date selector and the sharepoint items that are being created also have date as the type of data that match so not a whole lot more I can do.

Thank you so much for your help!

If you give me a few hours or so, I will create the same and give you a definitive answer.

    Hi @bscarpelli

My form accepts date in format dd/MM/yyyy as I am UK.

Out of the box, the date picker to a List Item works fine where the data type is both date and date/time without any conversions required. It converts from dd/MM/yyyy to yyyy-MM-dd.

Having looked again at your flow, onboarding date and time onboarding is based on two dynamic values?  Are these date columns?  What is the expected input and output?
