How to set a filename in AI Builder extract information in action in power automate

Is it possible to specify one file for Extracting information from documents in Power automate? I have created a flow that adds a SharePoint list item with attachments from an email, but I only need to use AI builder for one file. The filename for the attachment is the same in every email.

    Hi @Derekjr ,

The best thing to do in this case is to test the filename with a condition prior to call the AI Builder action:

    hi @Antrod

i need to add all of the attachments to the SharePoint list item. If i set the condition for only that one file name, it only adds that attachment to the sharepoint list item

You can have the actions to add documents in SharePoint outside the condition so you will store all the documents. Would that work?

Would i need to have a get attachments action first or get items first outside of the condition?

There are multiple possibilities 🙂 Here are 2 options:

    Option 1:

    • Outlook trigger to get the new emails with attachments
    • Apply to each on every attachment
      • Condition on attachments file name
        • If filename = what you expect, run the AIB model on the attachment
        • else, do nothing or whatever you think would be useful
    • Apply to each on every attachment (again)
      • Store each attachment in SharePoint

    Option 2:

    • Outlook trigger to get the new emails with attachments
    • Apply to each on every attachment
      • Condition on attachments file name
        • If filename = what you expect, run the AIB model on the attachment AND store each attachment in SharePoint
        • Else, store each attachment in SharePoint

    • Store each attachment in SharePoint
