I am hoping for some help on this (maybe) strange need. If my details are not clear please let me know.
We have a catalog of buildings (1200+) in SharePoint that are stored by Country / State (or Province). All images that we collect from the buildings are stored in an 'images' folder.
For example: where XXX-XXX is the Title (unique) for the location (Building ID)
url: /Building Inventory/CA/ON/XXX-XXX/Pictures/
url: /Building Inventory/US/NY/XXX-XXX/Pictures/
Inside that structure for each building is a file called 'preview.jpg' which is used to display the image of the building when selected in our catalog App.
My problem is, when we first add a new building we may not have an image to associate as the preview file, so we have a Flow task that creates the /Pictures/ folder and copies a base image which shows there is no preview picture to be seen. Over the years some buildings have not had their images changed. So we have maybe 15-20% that still show the no preview image.
I would like that to change, but going into 1200+ folders is not a task I want to do. I am looking for a way to show me a list of all /Pictures folders that have a preview.jpg file with size = XX bytes.
I have thought about building a gallery that shows all the buildings, but I am having a hard time figuring out to show preview.jpg = filesize X.
Any thoughts? Cheers
