Barcode Reader

It seems that the new PowerApps barcode reader cannot read code 39 barcodes with $ char and other special characters, see example:

Both barcodes scanned successfully with the old PowerApps barcode scanner using the same android phone.

    HI,

     

    When it comes to barcodes there are a lot of different types per type. Code 39 has a type called [3 of 9 Ext (ASCII)]

    If the barcode is in this format, it will read the "$". 

     

    I have attached the image from one of my systems using the new Barcode process in PowerApps.

     

    Also, this is very true with QR codes where there are over 40 types.

    The issue is with "Code-39" barcodes, barcodes in "Code-39 Full ASCII" format working properly with all characters.
