Flow stopped triggering when people column in List was changed to allow multiple selections

Hello,

 

I have a flow that is set to send an email notification to people in the "Assigned" column of my List when they are assigned a list item (task). It has been working fine, until we just updated the column in the list to allow multiple selections. Now the flow does not trigger at all. It doesn't fail, just doesn't trigger. Below is what the flow looks like. Do I need to change or add something now that the Assigned To column is multiple select?

    @CROKat Do you have a trigger condition for your flow trigger?

    Yes like @creativeopinion said, go see if there is a Trigger Condition that is within the Settings:

    @CROKat That's odd if your flow isn't triggering at all when you modify the item. I actually just tested that flow trigger on my end it doesn't seem to be triggering for anything either. Might be a bug? However, the When an item is created or modified trigger works.

     

    You might need to use that trigger instead with a condition to determine if the item was created or modified.

    It is weird, because it was working just fine and now isn't. I associated it with the change in the List column (people from single entry to multiple entry) because that is when it stopped triggering. 

     

    So you think instead of "When an item or file is modified" I should use "when an item is created or modified" ?

     

    Would the rest of my flow stay the same? I only want emails going to the assigned person when they get tagged in the people column.

     

    I just started to test the current flow with a manual trigger and this error came up before I had a chance to do anything: The API 'sharepointonline' returned an invalid response for workflow operation 'When_an_item_or_a_file_is_modified' of type 'OpenApiConnection'. Error details: 'The API operation 'GetOnChangedItems' requires the property 'body/value/0/Assigned' to be of type 'Object' but is of type 'Array'.'
