Bulk delete items from a SharePoint list doesn't work anymore

Hi,

Until yesterday the function Remove (SharePointList, collectionfromSharePointList) worked perfectly. I still have apps with this formula that work.

Starting with today it doesn't work anymore in the new Power Apps's version 3.22102.19. It worked perfectly and still works perfectly in the apps with the old versions. In the new app I'm working now it doesn't work anymore. I had to replace it with RemoveIf(SharePointList, ID in collectionfromSharePointList.ID) that is very slow. Please fix this, otherwise you have destroyed all my apps and work with these crazy changes and without any announcements nowhere. Hey Microsoft, are you a bunch of amateurs?

Could be an issue in the new version!!

Yes, RemoveIf is painfully slow!  You only need to provide the primary key (presumably ID in this case) to the Remove function.

So please consider changing your Formula to the following:

    Remove(SharePointList, collectionfromSharePointList.ID)

And see if that works or not (if not...I've got a lot of apps that will break soon!!)

I hope this is helpful for you.

    Hi Randy,

Your solution works. Thank you very much for saving my last struggling-working hours.  🤗

The problem will be with the other apps I haven't republished them for moths. It will be a nightmare to align them with the last version updates. 😭

Well...I am suspecting that there is an issue in the latest release that (hopefully) will be fixed!

The formula you had should work.  Remove really only cares about the primary key.  So, if you provide a full table of records, as long as the primary key is in it, the Remove should act on it.  Since you were, and it worked previously, it should still work (if fixed).

So, fingers crossed that you don't have to revisit the other apps!
