There is supposed to be a function in power automate where a warning notification banner can pop up upon certain errors similar to a desktop notification banner for outlook incoming email

I need whats happening in the attached image to happen. Im supposed to be giving a demonstration on the function but for some reason the Notification banner doesn't populate
Its already on the Windows Notification settings so I'm not so sure that is the problem

It's unclear what you want to achieve.

1. Windows notification -it just shows start and, end and error once as a entry in windows notification are
2. Flow notification windows shows you window where it shows what step/action is executed, it also show serror if it happens

These 1 and 2 are used when you run your flow from console, not from the designer.

Third option, is when you are in the designer and run from there to debug, it will then highlight action it is execution, but in debugger it does not show any notification windows.

I am looking to recreate this exact situation, so my screen looks like the picture presented. However I cannot get the banner that is reading run subflow and suggesting the error to populate. So if someone could help it would be much appreciated.

Got it, you need to be on PAD version with the new error warning (It ws 2.27 or 2.28), then:
- create new subflow, let's name is "subflow"
- then in main add action run subflow and select your subflow - that's the window

And now - if you make some errors in the logic usign your subflow, it will show the error
You can for example make this recursion:

1. Create Subflow_1
2. Create Subflow_2
3. in Subflow_1 add action to run Subflow_2
4. in Subflow_2 add action to run Subflow_1

I still cant seem to generate that banner in the picture.
Your solution does create a recursion that shows up as a warning in the error list but it does not generate that warning window that I am looking for in the picture I showed you, which I will show you again. Maybe I am missing something
