Search Index getting deleted after Dataflow ingest

Hello Everyone!

 

We have implemented Search on our portal on top of the data in a Dataverse table. This dataverse table is loaded from Snowflake everyday after deleting all the data. We are using dataflow for this purpose. Now the problem is that this dataload process is deleting the Search index as well. We have to manually rebuild the search index here after every dataload -

Is there an automated way to rebuild the search index on a schedule?

    Hi @PowerUser_Sai ,

     

    As far as I know there is no support API or other way to rebuild search index other then do it through UI. On the top of my mind there is an idea to use some sort of software like selenium or desktop flow in power automate to automatically login to Portal, open services page and click on rebuild index button. But you need to be careful because you will need to use credentials plus depending on your security with portal (ie 2 factor code) it might not be possible.
