User permission to run power automate flows

Hi Friends

I have a app using power automate flow to convert the XML output to PDF and email .. Users can run my app as i have provided the access to them on list level and app ..

But it seems when they run the app , it will not generate any emails and send to the recipients .. Do we need to provide the access to flows and onedrive

if yes , pls let me know how to provide the access to flows

Hi @ajithd6368 ,

You could set the users to be Run-Only users and force them to use the connection that created by you.

Thanks Bof ,

I did all as you advised , but still when use runs it is not generating PDF and send emails .

Would appreciate your advise ..

Hi @ajithd6368 ,

Have you checked the run history? Whether the flow is triggered? Is there any error?

It write an entry to the history if I run the app .. if another user it will not right to history .

Hi Bof ,

Managed to fix the issue , i have given read/write permission to the onedrive folder to the users. Then it started executing the power automate flows for uses. But i have a concern here , to run these flows users need read/write access to my folders in onedrive as one of the step(create files) in the flow create a HTML file and convert to PDF . Would you pls advice what is the best way to handle this without giving permission to my folders in onedrive

Hi @ajithd6368 ,

You could set the users to be Run-Only users and force them to use the connection that created by you. The Run-only users will use your identity to access One Drive when calling this flow.

I have already provided the "force users to access connection" as i mentioned in my previous update .. It was as below

It was correct .. right ? but still users were not able to run the flow till i provided the access to onedrive folder .
