This could be very basic, but I'm new in creating flows.

I have 3 flows.

1. Saves answers from a form in a list including the attachement

2. Update the list and add a unique ID (Start with PC-XXXXXX) + send email

3. takes the attachement from the list and move them to a library. I would like it take the userid along from the list to the document library, so I can find the attachment based on the Uniqe ID

Question

Can I do flow 1 + 2 in one flow as flow 3 is faster that flow 2, the file are moved without the unique ID, as this has not been generated at that point.

Or can a add in a "delay" in flow 3 (1 min) so 1 and two are finished before flow 3 starts.

Hello @TONAB
You could create a unique flow and execute all the steps. In fact, there is a delay action that you could use between some actions to wait for a result, for example.

Hi @fchopo
I tried to add a delay in my 3rd flow - moving attachment form list to library. Delay of 3 minutes
Unfortunately it still doesn't add on the unique ID when saving the the file.

Hello @TONAB
It's difficult for me to understand your problem... I still don't understand why do you need 3 flows instead of creating a single one, where you could reuse some information (in the 3rd flow, why are you looking for the attachment in the list, if you have it in the form, for example?)

I wasn't able to create 1 flow with everything in it - basically because I wasn't able to create a unique ID
I need to save the answers, create a unique ID and move the attachment from the form to a document library with the unique ID as reference. But no matter how I tried, I couldn't create that in one flow.

Actually, you could combine the three Flows into a Single Flow, these whole steps are: When a Form is submitted>> Get Details>>Create item(add unique ID)>>Compose(parse the entity of upload file by using JSON() function)>>Get file content>>Add attachments>>Send Email>>Get attachments>>Store them in a folder named by a unique ID.

Thank you for this.
This is basically what I did in 2 flows.
I'm still not able to create my unique ID in step one (I need to have PC-XXXX) as an ID. I only found a way to update the item, after it was created, so it got an ID that I could use for the Unique ID. Is there anyway I can do that in step 1.

Hi @TONAB,

Ok...If you want to add the ID into the PC-ID, the only way is after the item has been created, there is no other method because the ID only created when the item has been created.
