Hi,

I am Wayne and new joiner to Power Apps, now I am do some exercise on Power Apps

I want to add my collection into the data source of Gallery in the screen, but I don't find the collection in the dropdown list.

do I miss some steps? thanks in advance.

Hi @zxky18

Have you run your app yet and put data into it?

Do this.

1. click on the Dropdown Properties in the top left corner of the App, when you have the gallery selected.

2. Click the dropdown and go to Items

3. Start typing Employee and it should show up

Please share a picture of you typing in Employee and if the Intellisense gives you an option to select it even though you didn't see it in the Data Source drop down.

That or you have some error somewhere that is blocking it. Can you verify that you do not have any current Red dot errors?

@FLMike, Thanks for your reply. I am still a little confused. The data in the collection will be automatically updated after I click button. I tried to input Employee in the dropdown of the data source field. I still cannot find the Employee.

What kind of data source do you want to use? Do you have access to this data source?

Hi @zxky18 Just copy and place the name of your collection in the items of your gallery it should work or try closing your app and relaunch and check
