I'm trying to use the Pen input to sign pdf made thru a flow, previously I used a website to convert images into HTML code then store them in a SharePoint list and bring the whole code from there when required from the flow.
I would like to replace the manual procedure with an app, but I discovered that as soon as I try to concat the "<" nothing works anymore.
My on select in a button
Set(varJSON,JSON(PenInput1.Image,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData));
Set(varJSON,"<p><img src="&varJSON&" style=""width: 94px;""></p>");
Patch(Anagrafiche,First(Filter(Anagrafiche,Title=User().Email)),{SignHTML:varJSON});
the SignHTML remains empty, but the varJSON appears right as shown in the text of a label in the app

So I've tried to patch this one:
Set(varJSON,"A"&"B"&"C");
Patch(Anagrafiche,First(Filter(Anagrafiche,Title=User().Email)),{SignHTML:varJSON});
and works fine, SharePoint list reports ABC
then I've tried to patch:
Set(varJSON,"<"&"B"&"C");
Patch(Anagrafiche,First(Filter(Anagrafiche,Title=User().Email)),{SignHTML:varJSON});
and the field in the list appears empty again, I guess that the problem is the existence of < inside the concat text, but why?
PowerApps can become such frustrating, how can I replace the < ? maybe with some ASCII code?
