Form Customize with PowerApps - data is missing if attachment added

I have a SharePoint list with a Custom Form created in PowerApps. There form contains:

  • 3 text fields (hint text and default text added)
  • 1 drop down
  • 2 radio boxes
  • 1 attachment field for picture

All works good until the picture is added. On Submit, I have following issues identified:

 

  • If I add attachment, the confirmation email does not show the text values (reference to fields via Flow)
    • The form does not retain the text added to the field
    • Notification email does not contain text added earlier on the form

On top of that, I can not add the picture attachment to the Notification email. Any suggestions?

    Did you ever find a solution to this.  I have a similar issue.  The workflow runs successfully but when I add an attachment a certain field's data doesn't pull through

    Hello, 

     

    I just twekaed the solution at my end with no custom-form modified in powerapps. I have used following sequence instead:

    1. The form I have created is a Microsoft Form, it allows the attachment to be addedMarioOne_1-1707217671665.png

       

    2. The Form is captured into SharePoint List
    3. The Email message is sent tiggered by "When the new item is created"MarioOne_0-1707217526838.png
    4. Email is sent withthe condition logic above.

    That is basically it. It turned out to work poperly during the tests. Hope it helps! 🙂

    I'm using Power Apps linked to SharePoint. I have a RequestDetail multiline field that is visible in Get Item when the flow runs without an attachment. It disappears when an attachment is added and I can't figure out why
