Hi,
I use ComboBox B to show various Choices (DataVerse) depending from a previous choice (ComboBox A) in my app.
For example, if
- I select the category "Cameras" from ComboBox A, ComboBox B successfully gives you the different FrameRates (multiChoice) the camera can shoot at.
- If I select the category "Microphones" from ComboBox A, ComboBox B succesfully gives you the different PolarPatterns (multiChoice) microphones can record with.
I use a Switch Statement to specify the DataVerse Choices to populate ComboBox B with, depending on the type of equipment (cameras, microphones, ...) selected. Thus far, ComboBox B show the correct conditionnal Choices.
The problem happens is when I try to get the information out of ComboBox B. It seems that because I Switch from different sets of Choices, I cannot retreive the Value property of ComboBoxB.SelectedItems. The Value term is simply not available.
But if I try for a brief debug moment to replace the Switch statement with the single Choices from FrameRates, I get the term Value back in the code hint.
Anybody know a way around this ?
The app itself is a big one, with many controls already. I try to minimise the number on PowerApps Controls to keep the app efficient.
Thank you for enlightening me
