One number column in excel is giving multiple decimal places

Hi,

I have a flow that sends an email if there is an excel row with the date of today. It grabs several columns in the excel doc and puts them into an html table to then be emailed out.

One of the columns comes into the email with 13 decimal places, but all other columns keep the number formatting in the excel doc (1 or 2 decimal places).

I have tried to format the number, but have not been successful. How can I keep the formatting the same as the other number columns from excel?

Thank you

There is an action in Power Automate Format Number that you can use.

I strongly suggest that you use it.

Excel is not a very good data source for Power Automate - unfortunately.

@schwibach I have tried using Format Number multiple times, and it seems no matter where I place it in the flow, it produces an error message.

    Can you advise?

can you take screenshots of the error message and of the code of the step that produces the error (and ideally of the steps that the code is referencing)?
