Hey everybody

The last couple of days Sharepoint made issues in different Spots (couldnt feed collections from lists etc.)

Now i added 4-5 new choice columns to my list and wanted to add them to my Editform in Power Apps Studio. When i search for the name of the column it does not show up.

I also refreshed my datasource a couple of times. I also tested it with a Text column.

Is anybody having the same issue, that you can not find newly created columns in Power Apps Studio?

Hi mmbr1606,

I'm glad you found the answer - we all make these types of mistakes!

In terms of deleting and re-adding data sources, it shouldn't touch any of the existing formulas and logic in an app.

i created the new columns in the wrong list... thats all

I Made Changes to another list earlier today Without issues 🤷

Deleting and readdeing wont crush my logics when its connected again, right?

I've just tested this by adding a text column to an existing list.

On refreshing the data source, Power Apps recognised the new column immediately.

I'm not sure whether that helps you or not. For info, I'm in the UK. Perhaps this problem is region related?

It might be worth raising a support ticket since it seems you can easily recreate the problem.

Hi mmbr1606,

Did you try to remove and add the data source to the app? If you haven't already done so, save, publish, close and reopen the app. Sometimes this does the trick. You can also spin up a new app with this Data Source and see if those columns appear there?
