Distinct Error

Hi, i am just trying to perform the basic function in powerapps for distinct. I do not understand why the error keep showing expected text/number value? Appreciate your helps...

1) My errors : the error already popped once i key the source list. Can anyone tell me what's going on? For DEFAULT , it request Text value. For HEIGHT , it request number value.

I have 2 list.

1st list = all single line text

2nd list = all single line text

When you use Distinct(datasource, field), it produces a single column table and renames the column to "Result".

That is quite useful when you are using it as the Items property of a dropdown control. A typical scenario would be to create a gallery and a dropdown control filter it. In that case, you would have Distinct('SOURCE LIST", CSA) as the items property of a dropdown named Dropdown1 and

Filter('SOURCE LIST', CSA = Dropdown1.Selected.Result)

as the Items property of the gallery or datatable. If you wanted to sort the dropdown alphabetically, then its items property would be

Sort( Distinct( 'SOURCE LIST', CSA ), Result )
