Hi,

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I'm getting an error (see picture).

    Hi @Anonymous

    You need to update the expression as:

    Patch(Tickets,ThisItem,{Status: Checkbox1_17.Value})

    Hope this Helps!

    Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. I can mention that the patch function for the checkbox is only for updating the following work item when I push on the confirm button. Please see below the patchfunction for the "Confirm button"

    My datasource is an Excel file published on OneDrive.

    My item propery for my dropdown is Distinct(Tickets,Status) but I am going to change that to

    ["New","Work Item Communicated","Work Item With Release Notes","Work Item With Booked Meeting","Training Executed","Close",]

    since I want the status to be fixed and not depend on my status column in my Excel file

    Hi @Anonymous

    I carried out a test on my side and the below expression works fine. Please make sure that the one drive excel file is not open in edit mode anywhere else.

    Expression:
    Dropdown1 -> Items -> ["New","Work Item Communicated","Work Item With Release Notes","Work Item With Booked Meeting","Training Executed","Close"]

    Button -> OnSelect -> ForAll(RenameColumns(Filter(Gallery1.AllItems,Checkbox1.Value= true ),"ID","ID1"),Patch(Tickets,LookUp(Tickets,ID=ID1),{Status:Dropdown1.Selected.Value}))

    Hope this Helps!

    I didn't solve the problem like I wanted. I carried out a test and when I chose a checkbox to have on oncheck my tickets get the status true. the app creates another status called true. I don't want the app to create a status called true and I also don't want the app running without clicking on the confirm button.

    Hey @Anonymous

    Checkbox.Value returns a boolean value which is creating this true false. If you do not wish to trigger the save until the Submit button is clicked, please remove the expression on the "OnCheck" and "OnUnCheck" properties and replace them with false.

    OnCheck is triggered when the checkbox control is ticked, same for OnUnCheck.

    Hope this Helps!
