Flow sharing: User status is not efficient

PAD gives you the option to make a person a "User" or "Co-owner" when sharing a flow. I observed that the User capability option is not very efficient.

The person you are sharing with is able to create a copy of the flow you have shared with her, which gives her the power to make that flow her own. Then she is able to edit, share and even view the contents of that flow.

I would suggest that Power Automate remove the ability to create a copy of a shared flow on a "User" status.

What do you guys think?

It is obvious no one wants to talk about this issue. Is it that I did not make case clear enough to understand or I am just the only one concerned about it.

This is probably what the dev team intended. Why do you think it's an issue?

I just want to be able to create a flow that a user can run but not duplicate. You know, like being able to create a software that "Users" can use and not duplicate.

Just imagine me as a user of PAD, being able to literally duplicate PAD, give it another name and pass it on as my creation. I don't think the developers of PAD will want that.

I just think they should at least solely give me the flow creator the power to grant such permission.

Are you worried your colleagues are gonna steal your desktop flows and take credit? 🤔

    not colleagues, users.

I too am very frustrated about this behaviour. Flow may have sensitive data regular users shouldn't see.

If this is intended by Microsoft, then I don't understand the functionality of user/co-owner sharing permissions: this way all users are always co-owners! Worst: they become owners!

And it completely breaks the possibility for someone to monetize on RPA development!
