Hey there,

I am new to Power Automate and would like to find a solution to an issue I am currently facing.

Is there a way to extract the file type from a specific file?

For example:-

Let us say I have a file called "CustomerDetails.docx" what I want is to extract everything after the last "." from the file name and would provide me with ".docx"

I have read somewhere that I can use compose and the substring expression to extract what I what, but I could not specifically direct it to select everything after the last "."
