Hi

I am creating Search function with DataTable

I am successfully create search function for the column with single line of text. (Column Name is "Projectname")

However I tried to search for the column with choice, it failed. (Column Name is "CustomerName")

Could someone tell me how to do this?

    Hi @RyoIshi731

    It searches either Project name or Customer Name

    With(
     {mReport: MaintenanceReport},
     Sort(
     Filter(
     mReport,
     //Text Search in Project Name and CustomerName
     && (IsBlank(TextInput1.Text) || TextInput1.Text in Title || TextInput1.Text in ProjectName || TextInput1.Text in CustomerName.Value || )
     ),
     ProjectName,
     Ascending
     )
    )

    Thanks,

    @StalinPonnusamy

    Thank you so much for your answer.

    I pasted just like you said, however it failed.

    I don't understnd what "ParenClose" means.

    It is OK to search from only CustomerName,  no need to select from Project Name.

     Hi @RyoIshi731

    Sorry, something is missing. Try this

    With(
     {mReport: MaintenanceReport},
     Sort(
     Filter(
     mReport,
     //Text Search in Project Name and CustomerName
     IsBlank(TextInput1.Text) || TextInput1.Text in Title || TextInput1.Text in ProjectName || TextInput1.Text in CustomerName.Value
     ),
     ProjectName,
     Ascending
     )
    )

    Thanks,

    Hi @RyoIshi731

    Best way to understand the available functions and test them out one by one.

    Here is the MS article for each function with an explanation

    Thanks,
