We have built a Canvas app that uses security roles to filter data. It has an accompanying model driven app.
There are a groups of users that we can't get working, whether with "PowerApps per User plan" or "PowerApps per App users" plans
For "PowerApps per User" plan users, we
1) Assign the user a license
2) We share the app with them, granting the relevant security roles. Here we hit an issue "Error: failed to create the following users("objectID":"some guid").
We also tried the "PowerApps per App " we tried this
According to the MS docs (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/about-powerapps-perapp) these suggest the following:
1) You assign a "Per App license to an Environment"
2) You share the App with a user
3) The user gets created in Dataverse when they launch the app for the first time.
4) You then assign the relevant security roles. But user never gets past step 3
On the acompanying Model driven app, when we share, we get a different, more detailed error (attached) that points to security groups.
