I have an issue that I’ve been wrestling with for some time and need some guidance.

My department has an Infopath form connected to a SharePoint list that we use for documenting client procedure information.  These forms vary in length from about 12 questions to over 100 depending on what is needed.  Twice a year, we download the forms to PDFs and send them to the clients for confirmation that nothing has changed.

With Infopath on the way to retirement, we need to replace the old forms, retain the SharePoint list so we can pull information quickly, so team members in different cities and countries can access the information, and we need to be able to pull the data into a professional looking document.

We’ve built an app that mostly works as we’d like (it's a pretty complex form), but there doesn’t seem to be any way to get the files pulled into a professional document since Print() will only print the visible screen.  Is there anything we are overlooking in trying to solve this problem?

You can use the HTML text container to create the documents the way you need them to look and then use a FLow to create the PDF for you.

This video from Shane Young explains things well

Thanks, I watched that video and it looks like I'd have to write HTML for each question and the different response fields (multichoice, single choice, single line text, multiline text, and business logic) and I was hoping to find an easier answer, since I'm not a programmer and that much code is daunting.

It is possible that one of the third party PDF connectors offer a better experience. You could look through the list of them and check that out.

Where would I find that list, Brian?

If you go to the Power Automate page (where your Flows are) Click on Connectors on the left side, that will list all the connectors. There is a search at the top of the page, so you can just put in PDF

I just heard today that they are working on a better print to PDF experience from PowerApps. Not sure of the release date. They announced this last month and I missed it.

Thanks for the update, Brian.  I will look for that information so I can keep track of any updates.
