When I submitt a form the selection that I chose on my drop down doesn't show up on the list the form is linked to. I suspect the Update box on the drop down data card needs to be addressed. When I enter "DropDownX.Selected" I get the error of "The property expects Text values. but this rule produces incompatible Record values".
The Selected property of the dropdown control returns a record with the selected item. Try updating the Update property to
DropdownX.Selected.Value
The actual property name (after the 'Selected.') may be different depending on the value of the Items property of your dropdown. When you type the '.' after Selected, you should see in the intellisense the possible values that you can choose.
